CARS cost money – there’s no escaping it. But how much has YOUR new motor lost in three years?
We asked car price experts CAP Automotive to crunch the numbers on Britain’s favourite cars and come up with 50 motors that have lost the LEAST since 2011. Buy them new today and you can expect similar figures in 2017.
Philip Nothard, of CAP, said: “There are two ways to look at depreciation. You can rely on a posh brand like Audi to save you money over time because the car holds its value so well. But you can also stay ahead by not spending very much in the first place. The basic Perodua Myvi only held on to a third of its cost new but it cost less than £8,000 to start with.”
